Lawrence Liang
Lawrence Liang is from Vancouver, Canada.
Lawrence is the 2007-8 Shiramizu karate intern.
Lawrence started karate in 1996 when he was about 13.
In 2004 Lawrence met Richard Mosdell who introduced him to the JKF Wadokai's vision of Wadoryu karate.  Lawrence, along with his dojo, Pacific Spirit Wado, joined the Canadian Zenkuren Wado Kai Association in an effort to further their karate.  Along with the change to JKF Wadokai, Lawrence applied for the Shiramizu karate internship so he could imerse himself in  Japanese karate to get himself up to speed as quickly as possible.  Upon his  return to Canada, he will share what he has learned.
2008 Wado World Championship Silver Medal in Mens Individual Kata
Outside of all that, Lawrence is an avid car enthusiast and has interests in everything from skiing and movies to percussion and writing.  Also, this year he has a chance to pursue his interests in teaching with a new job in Tokyo.

Lawrence is a great help and very enthusiastic about karate.  He was such a great help to me when I went to Japan.  I would have been quite lost without his help.
I am sure that anyone with a genuine interest in martial arts (or cars !) and seeking help from Lawrence will not be disappointed.  Indeed, anyone seeking help from Lawrence will surely be helped with enthusiasm and knowledge.
Lawrence also kept me focused and going in the right direction when I would falter.  I am proud to have met and continue to work with Lawrence.
