At Japan Karate Institute Wadokai, Chiang Mai, we practice the official JKF Wado Kai kata.

In addition, we have basic katas, called Kihon Kata, which can be used to help learn fundamental aspects and principles.

There are also paired kata, generally called Yakusoku Kumite. In Wado Ryu these kata are commonly called Kihon Kumite Kata. There are 10 kata in this set. They are numbered from one to ten.
